Cell Phones and Our Lives
Technology seems to have become much more prominent in our daily lives. Just about everything we do in our lives is technology related. It started first with the internet and early computers. These allowed us to start connecting more readily with others around the world and expand our knowledge base. From there we got the advent of the cell phone. Initially this was the expansion of communication for convenience when away from home. As the years went by, the cell phone has gained more and more uses. Now we use it for just about everything we do in our daily lives. If we needed directions, we pull out our cell phones. If we need the latest news or sports scores, we pull out our cell phones. If we dinner, we order it on our cell phones. We even look at our cell phones for the latest happenings from our friends and relatives without even have to speak to them. This device has become as essential in our lives as the air we breathe and the food we eat. Many of the children today don't know what life was like without a cell phone. We have grown as a society to be dependent on it. One can only wonder what more will these devices be capable of doing for us in the next decade? Only time will tell and our current cell phones may be considered primitive much like the way we view our old flip phones.
While reading this, i can agree that cellphones have become such an essential part of our lives that to even start thinking about how it was before they appear since kind of long ago when in reality is only been some years. Brings the thought of how much advance it will get as years go by.
ReplyDeleteCell phones have become a tool necessary to go about our daily lives. We are always connected to others at the touch of a screen. I, too, wonder what the evolution of the cell phone will be. It seems as technology gets smaller and smarter, we may one day be wearing implants that serve as identification and communication devices. Who knows.
